Matching driver shaft with 3wood shaft

    Hi, I have 910d3 with Aldila rip 60, and I love it. I would like to buy a 910f 15 degree, with a matching shaft. So that the shaft performs the same and the swingweight is consistent. Could anybody give me some guidance on whether i should order the same shaft - rip 60, or if it should be the rip 70. Thanks

    I did something similar as I had the 910D2 with a Diamana Kai'li shaft. When I tried out the 910F on the course and range with the local club pro he gave me the same shaft but slightly heavier at 75grams and also let me try the lighter red diamana shaft. However for me the lighter shaft even though it was stiff was a little whippy and the heavier one was much more consistent and solid at contact. The pro knew which one was going to be better suited before we went out but he said in general a 3 wood shaft should be slightly heavier, whether this is true or not I am not sure. For me it was definitely true so I would say the rip 70 but if you can you should try both.
