  1. Played both the black and red balls. Thought there was added distance for both balls. I liked the black because of the higher ball flight.

I received my white ball test balls . Red 1 and black 1. I started on the putting green testing these vs current prov1 and prov1x models. Then proceeded to short game testing. Putting the prototypes through every shot with every wedge. The red and black outer cover are more durable and noticeably softer off putter and wedge faces. Unbelievable consistency and control. The spin is amazing no matter the shot chosen. The sound and feel of the red and black spot on. Trajectory , shot shape and distance with irons and driver are exactly what this product is trying to achieve Titleist the 25s are amazing. Thank you Team Titleist. I gotta go back to testing
  3. Ok....just finished putting the '25 Prototypes against my gamer up on the GC Quad. I tested all 3 at 50yd LW, PW, 7i, and Dr. The Prototypes definitely feel softer than my gamer (Chrome Tour X) on all shots. The same goes for the Putter. I have a slight clink with the gamer, but nothing noticeable with either Prototype. I'll let the numbers and pictures attached speak for the rest of the test. Premium as always!

Apparently I can only upload 3 photos in here....so I'll link to the FB Post.

  8. I've gamed both the 2023 Pro V1 and Pro V1x at times. Generally I've chosen the ball based off of where my game is in regards to spin in the wedge game and where my preferred window is. Currently gaming the Pro V1x and living/ playing in Denver, so the altitude makes the flight and spin a little weird.

In regards to the 2025 prototype Black (Pro V1) vs. Red (Pro V1x):
    1. Spin: both balls seem to spin slightly more in the short game in a good way. Haven't been able to really test with a launch monitor on the course, but if the spin is slightly increased in the irons, I couldn't tell in terms of the flight. Shots didn't balloon on me and ball flights seemed fairly strong.

    2. Distance gains were modest if any

    3. Most obvious to difference to me was feel: Both balls felt slightly firmer in comparison to the 2023 model, but not in a bad way. I don't think you'd be able to tell the difference unless you were comparing models side-by-side (sort of like when you're looking at TV's).
  9. What’s the skeptical they could do better than the model 23 I feel like they knocked it out of the park with the pro V one. I’m not sure about the X as I don’t play that but it’s gotta be a good ball.

Being a Pro V1x player, the "x" ball flew a bit longer and felt softer around the green including putting than the 2023 model.

The Pro V1 flew lower & seemed to go slightly further than the "x". I have no issues with purchasing the 2025 Pro V1x next season.

    Well Done Again Titleist!

Thanks for the experience to evaluate the new ProV1. Cannot say enough about it. Off the tee great trajectory and increase distance. Titleist really knows how to get their customers involved in the development of their products.

I'm disappointed the new prototype PRO V balls did not stop me from finding the water! On a serious note, I love the feel of the ball off my irons, and The ProV1x is still consistently longer for me. It's still amazing around the greens.
  13. I’m a longtime ProV1x user. The prototype felt just as good on all shots, especially on the greens…soft and responsive. Seems to slightly more durable, although I’m generally a 3-4 round user of a ProV1x anyway. My index is 8.4 but at 69 I don’t hit it long nor high, just straight. The prototype definitely suits my game as long as it spins the same coming off my driver as the ProV1x…if Titleist goes with this I’ll definitely be a user!
    Thanks for including me.

I would love to be able to test the new balls. I have been a member since 2002 and used Pro V1 and more recently Pro V1x for over 15 years!
I have never been lucky enough to get a white box or a TT putting disc and other merch but I am hoping I might get the chance this year. Occasionally working on the tour I have managed to try some of the more exotic Pro V1's like the Pro V1 Dot, Star and Pro V1x+ but I am desperate for a white box!
  15. I really enjoyed testing out both of these new models. Similar to the 2023 models, I thought the ProV1x flew a little higher and is a little firmer off the club face - and putter. The ProV1 flys a little lower for me and is softer feeling. Overall I think they're comparable to the current models but I was hitting them a little bit further off the driver which was nice. Will certainly play the new model when it's available.

I'm disappointed that I wasn't chosen to test out the new prototype ProV1 and ProV1x. Hopefully that will change in the future. However, reading all of the comments from fellow TT members about the new balls has made me incredibly excited for the 2025 golf season. As a dedicated ProV1x player, I can't wait to see how the new ball will perform and what improvements it will bring to my game next season.
  17. First time I've had an opportunity to test a Titleist product. Played both the ProV1 and ProV1x prototypes, but I'm ProV1 all the time. Absolutely loved the ProV1. I gained a club to a club and a half with my irons, and 7-10 yards off the tee. Just jumped off the face. Great spin with the ProV1, a little more than I was used to with the Prov1X, but still both really great balls. Can't wait for the new ProV1 to hit the market.
  18. i have tested both the black adn red prototype and i felt a small distance increase from the previus models. Other than that they felt pretty similar to the previus models.
  19. How does the new X spin compared to current model? I have difficulty getting spin on my shots and am really hoping for some added help with the new ball.

Very good performance off the tee for me. Really smooth feel in putting. Excellent performance in the short game. The ‘25 prototype has excellent stopping power on purely struck wedge shots. I’ve played the ProV1 ball over 15 years and it just gets better. Thank you to all at Titleist for making the game’s most premier ball.
  21. For starters, thank you very much for providing me with the protype balls. It was a nice surprise.

My initial impressions are that the ball (Pro V1x) flies higher and noticeably farther. The combination of the prototype ball and my new GT2 has materially changed the distance I am hitting the ball. Thye are a game changing combination, and I look forward to playing the new ball all the time.

To all of you that have received the white box - congratulations! I was chosen twice and it is great to get an early chance to play the new version. wasn't chosen this time (25) or the last time (23), but I still get excited when new Pro Vs are unveiled.

It's been over ten years now that the only ball I play is the V1X... Last September confirmed my ball choice when I toured Ball Plant 3 - I will only play Titleist forever!!!

I found that the new V1x flies straighter than the 23 version (10 fairways in last round). There is a pleasant click off the putter. I definitely prefer the new model.
