Official Review Thread: All-New T-Series Irons

I was fitted to my T150s and love the look, feel and performance. After playing T100s and trying the T100s irons, I turned 70 yrs old and while I’m still a scratch player, I had lost some speed and a club of distance. I switched to the T150s. The slightly larger head, but with still a thin top line and no offset, they look great. The stronger lofts made the difference. I’ve always played three Vokey wedges, but for the first time I went with a 48 degree T150 with my AMT red shafts. I really like it.

Totally agree with this. Same here. I lost a club of distance and while I realize the lofts are stronger, I have eliminated the gaps. Adding the 48 degree gap wedge was something I had to be convinced of and now it is my favorite club. I am not scratch (yet!) but I am still grinding every day to get better. Love the T150's.

I had been playing with my Titleist 704 CB irons for 18 years, coupled with a 54 and 58 Vokey from 2009. Needless to say it was time. These had 130 gram True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts in them and I knew that my fitting would yield much different shafts.

I started with a wedge fitting at a Team Titleist short game camp. That was awesome and I ended up ordering new SM10 Vokey wedges: 48, 54, and 58 knowing that I was going to get fit for irons and that I would likely have a wedge with 43 loft (T200 or T350). Getting the proper lofts, grind and bounce for my game at the wedge fitting was great.

The iron fitting came a few days later and was a good experience to make sure that my first new set in quite some time was going to be right for me. I had never been fitted and always bought off the rack. I really liked getting the data from Trackman during my fitting and see the ball speed and distance differences between the various club and shaft combinations. The only downside was I was only able to test 7 iron at my fitting. I would have liked to also try 5 and 9 irons. I came out of it with new T200 with Nippon Modus Tour 105 stiff shafts 5-PW. Just arrived a few days back and very much looking forward to my first round with them.

I was encouraged to try them. Went through a fitting and settled on the T200’s. Best iron I’ve played. Crisp, flush contact consistently. Additional yardage equals + 7-8 yards per club. Lofts are the same as what I was playing. I can work the ball both ways and now feel confident going for tight pins. Very, very satisfied.

Just got fitted for the t-200 and played my first round with them. I absolutely love them.

The look of them are something I am definitely going to have to get use to since my old clubs were ancient. The feel was great and my distance improved by 10 yards.

I’ve been fitted twice for T series irons. T300 the first and T200 the second. Both experiences were excellent. Both fitters did a great job showing me the different irons and shaft options. I’ve been playing Titleist irons for over 20 years. I don’t think that will ever change.

I have been playing titleist irons for about 10yrs now.

I am a 4 handicap and have plated the 718Apt irons, one of my favorite sets.

When getting fit this year i had my heart set on the T100 irons, boy was I wrong!

I was fit with the new T150 irons and they have been remarkable! They are not bulky looking and have that amazing titleist feel with a little more distance. I have about 10 rounds with them now and I couldn’t be happier. Tons of workability with forgiveness and clean lines.

I also was fit into a t200 driving iron build with Graphite Design Ad-di. What an absolute machine!

If you’re on the fence about the T150s being a better player, get over it because they are everything you want in a performance club.

I wanted to buy the 150 but its looks EXACTLY the same as the T100S and the current T-100 when looking down at the club......Im not sure what is different besides the exterior aesthetics

Currently play the 2023 T100 3-PW with the project x 6.5 was fitted locally but..... WOW these are absolute firesticks. Consistence is key and there perfect, workability is great, overall top notch irons. I highly recommend any handicap to try these out. Paired with the Prov 1 its made a huge impact on my game.

Interesting. When I got fit, my Titleist fitter asked me what ball I play. I said either the ProV1, ProV1x or the AVX. I had all three at the time. He convinced me that in order to be more consistent, I needed to commit to one ball. He fit me for the ProV1x and that is all I play now. Perfect match for these irons.

The past couple seasons years have been really special for me. After a long overdue knee surgery in December of 2021, I really wanted to get my game back in shape. I had been playing Ap2 irons for years and it was time to upgrade. Was really struggling with distance. I was fit by expert Titleist fitter John DalSanto in the spring of 2022. He took one look at my swing and immediately determined I was in the wrong shafts. In a matter of minutes we honed in on the T100S with Steelfiber shafts. What an amazing difference! Then last year, I just had to hit the T150's after reading about their impending release. Similar to the T100s, but a little more forgiveness and better dispersion for me. So, despite the prior year purchase, I bit the bullet and about the T150's. I am really glad I did. What a great set of irons! Then I went to work with my pro on improving. My ball striking is so much improved from last year and these T150's deliver. Great feel for a players distance club. One small thing was that John talked me into adding the gap wedge from the set as I usually hit full shots with it. I resisted at first, but now it's my favorite club! The remainder of the back includes TSR driver, fairway and hybrids. Could not be happier with my Titleist gear! Can't wait for the GT's

Love the clean look of the new T series irons I’ve always played the CB’s and now the MB’s and think the T150’s could do with a little thinner top line. They’re great clubs for advanced - intermediate players who don’t quite want to play a CB iron but the comparison of the CB and forgiveness in the T150’s make it a great iron!

I was fitted for a set of T200's in April. It was an much needed upgrade from my AP1's from 2014 LOL. I couldnt be happier with the new T Series. Overall accuracy improvement using a local fitter who adjusted lie 2.5 degrees. Made a big difference with approach shots. Currently looking to get fitted for the new GT Driver!

I had the privilege of testing the new 350 with Team Titleist at Saint Andrews prior to public release.
Upon the return to the States I had a formal fitting with Titleist John in Naples Florida and subsequently ordered a new set of custom fit T350’s.
Wow! the look and feel of these clubs is fantastic. Pairing the heads with a shaft compatible to your swing speed and shot dispersion makes al the difference. The forged head make you feel you are a hot knife gong through butter.res.cloudinary.com/.../zrcbybwkadwl6x0kfdkt:550:0]

I got fit by a Titleist rep last Fall for the T150s. I was playing srxn’s since 2015 (745s then 785s.) The 150s have been the best irons I have ever played. I can’t get over how forgiving some of my mishits are. My accuracy and dispersion have improved significantly. I honestly don’t know how Titleist will improve upon these clubs.

I'm curious if anyone has gone from T150's to T200 and if so, what have you seen? I'm a 9 handicap but my iron play has been the weak part of my game and I'm considering moving from my 150's to the 200's. I have a T200 4 iron that I absolutely adore and it has me wondering if that's the right play for me.

If you have changed, are you having any issues with low spin or holding greens?

I have always been a CB/MB player. 712 until 718 CB's came out and used them until 2022. This is where the fishing for the right weapons took over a year. I didn't like the leading edge of the 620 CB or MB. I tried everything (all previous T100&s models, TM, miz JPX Tour and eventually landed on the set of miz 421's with modus 125 shafts for the first time. I rebuilt them 6 times until they were perfect @ D3 progression (D3 423 4i, D3 5i progressing slightly towards D4 to 9i). I gamed them in a few tournaments, but still dreaded the 5&6 iron miss. I missed the lag in the S400 shafts and never liked the feel of swinging soft on an approach so I got into soft stepping. My Titleist rep hooked me up with Seth Fair (local fitting rep and hell of a player). The moment I had them in my hands the numbers didn't lie. Most of all my misses were way tighter. There was a bit of a learning curve of the feeling the ball coming out more left than usual (went back to .5 flat lie angle), but the excitement I got looking forward to the T150 5i and T200 4i was a no brainer. The last modification made was to the T200 4i shaft using the DG Tour Issue 120 shaft (again soft stepped using a 3 iron shaft) which gave me more control. I did have to counter balance it out with 7.5g but it is an absolute weapon. While I do wish the CB model would be updated, the bag is absolutely dialed for now. Full bad below:

I got fitted for my T200's last summer. My entire bag is Titleist with my irons being 5-PW. I also carry a TSR2 Driver, TSR2+ 3 wood and 2 TSR hybrids, along with my Vokey wedges.

I have liked these irons from the start and after a year of playing them I have great confidence in both my yardages and dispersions. I like that they have the look from the top of a blade, but I can still flight them like a game improvement iron. I am getting older so I really love the straightness and consistent yardages so that my misses are manageable.

Mark me down as another satisfied Team Titleist member!

I was fitted by Titleist at their Manchester Lane facility in Acushnet, MA in August 2023. My new T350 Series Irons arrived about two weeks after my fitting. I have exclusively played Titleist equipment since 1999. I have not missed upgrading my equipment ever with each new series of Titleist Irons that have been released. Every generation of Irons has been a significant improvement over the predecessor series. As I've gotten older, the fittings and the recommended irons have help me improve my game and reduce my handicap, even as I've crossed over age 60 this past year. My T-Series irons have helped my increase my club-head speed and dial-in precision to the target. My T350's look great, sound great, and have proven results.

At the time of my fitting I was a 14 Handicap. I went in will the intention of getting the T200 irons, after hitting a few and trying a couple different shaft combos they did not feel that great to me. I switched to a different manufacture and had some improvements and was getting closer. The fitter then suggested I try the T150. After a couple different shaft change outs we finally settled on the T150 with True Temper X100. These irons have been amazing for my game as it has helped lowered my Handicap now to a 10. These irons are the most consistent iron I have ever played and feel amazing. My miss hits don't travel that far off line now and the confidence I have gained it worth everything. These irons will be hard to replace when the time comes.

Got fitted last year in Colorado. Had an excellent fitting session with Eli. Best fitting I’ve ever had. We narrowed it down to T200’s. Been playing with them this past year and my game has exponentially got better the more I’ve used them. Would highly recommend a fitting with Eli…

These 350s replace Titleist 718 AP-1s, which replaced 714 AP-1s. After turning a deaf ear to fitting for years, I finally bit the bullet and got a brand-agnostic fitting. These are my first complete fitting (Carl’s Golfland here in Michigan); after 90 minutes, it came down to these Titleists, miz 923 JPX Hot Metals and png 430s. I’m 75 with a swing speed 85+ mph. The feel, look and dispersion of the 350s were the deciding factors. We discovered early in the session that I needed irons that were 2 degrees WEAKER than standard (45 degrees PW versus 43 degrees, etc.). At stock loft, nothing was longer or tighter than my old AP-1s; at 2 degrees weaker, everything improved – launch angle, descent angle, distance and dispersion. My handicap index has dropped from 9.6 to 8.5 since I bought these.

I had long poo-pooed the possibility that there could be a big difference from one generation of iron to the next; the jump from the 714 AP-1s to 718 was minimal in terms of performance. The difference with these 350s is HUGE! Better in every way. Thank you Titleist!
