T200s and a Wedge Recommendation

48 would be my guess, but best to do gap fitting analysis with fitter. Need to know carry distances

There is no "best combo", only the combo that works best for you. You will find that many of the TT members playing T200 use a variety of wedge set ups based on their own personal preferences and individual confidence in their selection. Do some testing and decide if you prefer a vokey gap or the T200 gap wedge. Either selection has its pros and cons. You can always switch back and forth if unsure.

I play with SM9 48.10F, 52.12F, and 58.10S with the T200 4-PW.

I personally would go with the 48 as 7 degrees seem like a big gap between your PW and the 50. The T200 GW is 48 degrees if you wanted to go that route.

If you want to do a Vokey then ideally you would go to a Titleist wedge fitting and see how far you hit the 48 vs 50 to confirm the right gapping.

You can get an A wedge with the set. I then use 52, 56, and 60 sm9 wedges.. As I am getting older I dropped my 5 iron for a 5 hybird with 1degree up. Seems to work.

So I had and sold the T200s because they were so long. For me I was going with 50/54/60 and the T200 PW and had a huge enough gap that I still needed my 46 Vokey in the bag... dropping the 4 iron because it reached into 5W range.

Whatever all the companies marketing blah blah about forgiveness and launch and strong lofts is BS. 43* is a 9 iron no matter what the bottom of the club says. I still hit a 43* T200 PW the same distance as I hit my 43* 9i 712 MB. Which means you basically need two clubs that say PW on the bottom plus a Gap wedge and your 4 iron is interchangeable with a 3Hybrid/3iron. (My bag went: D, 3W, 3H, 5-PW, 46, 50, 54, 60, Putt) Yes, FIVE wedges!!

Even carrying 5 wedges, for me the gapping was all off. So I got rid of the T200 irons. You could go with the 48 Vokey, but by my experience I don't think its gonna cut it between the PW as my 46 was decent gapping. (125-130 and T200 PW 138-143). 46 and your 54 would mess up the gapping there.

Most realistic option, I think, would be the T200 W Wedge (48) and your 54, 60 Vokey. I am assuming you'll get a few yards over the 48 Vokey, but not enough to match a 46 Vokey that would throw off your SW gapping by a crazy amount. I am positive a 50* will not suffice. From my experience it doesn't.

That's not an option for me, as I don't even like carrying set PW and use a Vokey in the PW slot. Hence why I've sold off the T200.

I ordered the matching T200 48degree gap wedge. Couldn't be happier. I use it when I'm 110 or less to the pin. I carry a 54 and 58 Vokey but those are for chipping and bunkers.

I ordered 4i to pw and gw. Can't wait to hit. I think the gap wedge in a 48 will do me well as the pw is 43. So the gaping is perfect. Then I went for vokey s10 wedges in 54 58 . How's it going your right 54 and 58 chipping around green and bunkers. Full shots with pw and gap wedge .

I play a T200 5-PW set, 48.10F, 54.10S or 54.08M and a 58.10V or 60.08M depending on the turf. I find the 48 fits in great for my yardages between the PW and 54s.

I have a 4-48W T200 set along with a 54.10 and 60.08 SM9s. The gaps work for me and I worked with my fitter. I used to carry a 58, but the 60 works better for me around the greens.

I have the same set up, and I went with a 48, 52 and 56.

Echoing what everyone else says about doing a gapping and fitting for best results.

I’m gaming a set of Jaws starting at 50 for my wedges. I have a gap I need to fill tho after getting my t200s cause my pw is 125ish and my 50* is right around 105.

I have T200 5-PW, 48, 54 and 60 Vokey. That combo seems to work for me.

I play T200s 4-9 and Vokey SM9 46 bent to a 45, 52,56, and 60.

I game 3-GW and Vokey SM7 54 & SM8 60.

Would recommend getting fitted to see what the optimal lofts are for your distance gapping and shot style. Lots of variables on the shorter end where you might not be doing a 100% full swing so a consistent X* of loft gap might not translate to consistent yardage differences (vs. higher up in the bag you're swinging each club fuller).

I added T200 48 degree gap wedge and then had my 54 bent to 53 degrees and round out my bag with my 58. So 5 degree gaps from 43 to 58.

I’m trying a different approach these days. When I bought my T200 pitching wedge, I had it lofted down to 42°. This fits in perfectly with my 46, 50, 56, and my occasional 60 SM8 Vokey wedges.

I know it’s a little bit unusual, but I’m never gonna give up my 46 Vokey wedge to me it’s my actual pitching wedge, despite the name on my 42° wedge

I agree with Dale in that there is no standard set up for wedges. There are many factors that determine the right wedges for a golfer.

My current set up is 48*, 54* and 58*.
