I switched to the ProV1X yellow last year after playing the white for the prev two years. I have not noticed any performance difference between white and yellow balls. I like that I am the only one in my 4 some who plays a yellow ball. I also like the visual of the yellow ball on the tee. I turn the red number so that it is just inside the target line of the back of the ball and take “dead aim” on that number.
  2. I usually play the Pro V1 white, but I’ll play the yellow on low visibility days. I feel like my yellow always go farther and I have more control with it……but I think it is all in my head.

I cannot imagine there is any appreciable difference in weight or aerodynamics in one over the the other. I'm betting the tolerance is the same between two balls of the same color versus balls of different colors.
  4. I have had a hole in one with both colors. So they are both awesome!

I've been playing the Yellow ProV1X since they came out and love the better visibility.

That being said, it Titleist that we're talking about here. With their extensive R&D, testing, etc. do you REALLY think that Titleist would release a ball where one color performed differently than another?

Yellow has to be faster. I know when I see the light turn yellow, some cars go faster.
  7. Yellow White for me. Purely for visibility purposes. I stocked up big time on AVX yellows during the sale

I agree with those who say myth, color doesn’t make a difference in the quality, seems It is mostly a personal preference. And if you hit one a yard further in testing probably go the other way next two swings imho
