    One from left field though I changed my whole attitude on Jason Dufner this Summer. Dufner by all rights could have withdrawn from the Perth International due to injury though instead he travelled half way around the world to compete. That for me is a class act and something that went unnoticed.

    Jordan Speith hands down.  Kept expecting him to have a bad hole but he kept sinking putts.   His win in the Hero Open was my fave as it franks his Aussie form

    It would have to be Jordan Speith's 63 at the Aussie Open with Storm clouds building on the penultimate day and the crowd favourite Adam Scott bing willed on to make a big score that did not come to fruition , Jordan blew the field away with his 63. A signature fist pump with his caddy and on the 18th completing one of the best rounds of his career.

    Favourite moment for me was seeing Jarrod Lyle get back onto the course - both on the US PGA and here in Oz. He displayed the gritty characteristics in overcoming the odds that Aussies are well known for. As for the favourite player, I've liked seeing the amateurs like Sinnott and Murdaca mixing it with "the big boys". The future of Australian golf is looking good!

    I think Golf itself is the real winner , I love that the Aussies players have proved now they can play great rounds at compete at any event .

    But my golf moment is that the Pga Pro's have come forward and supported the Royal Pines course , My fear was that after Clive Palmer destroyed the credibility with Backoe - gate and the fact that he didn't want the Coolum course to any longer hold the Pga event , just goes to show how spoilt a brat he is . Thats it my rant is over !

    Let's hope Aussie golfers continue to move forward in leaps and bounds ... Oh ! Go Scotty looking forward to catching up with you again one day .. maybe at  the Sunny Coast - Maroochy River one day .

    Lincoln Tighe's final round 64 to win the NSW PGA championship was my highlight. A rising talent storms home to gain maiden victory.
