Best wedge for bunker square face

    Which Vokey grind is the best out of bunkers if you play with a square face rather than opening the face?

    I don't open the face in bunkers either and I have an S Grind recommended to me when went to the Vokey Experience

    Most teachers will say open to activate the bounce and keep the leading edge from digging in first. If you are not using that standard technique, the more bounce you have, the better chance of the club not digging in too deep. use whichever grinds have the highest degree of bounce.

    It will depend greatly on the texture of the sand. If it is very soft, more bounce and a wider flange will be better. If it is firm, less bounce.

    Time for a wedge fitting!
