Felt good off the club face as you would expect from a Titleist ball. Ball flight into the wind was good and consistent. Winter runs so had to play fairway shots from a Rocket Launcher mat so hard to judge the balls there. Still on proper greens and ball felt good on the putter face, good feedback with nice sound.
All-in-all very pleased with the ball and would be happy to put in my bag

Hello Hannah.
i am pleased to say that when practicing with the ball (not lost one yet they must fly well haha) I shot my best ever round of 71 the ball is quite firm feeling off the tee but performs nicely around the greens offering enough feel to assist short game in my opinion the balls sent too me were in the bracket of an nxt tee tour? The cover is very durable on the ball no scuffs or colour discrepancies as of yet which is very pleasing it is all round a very solid ball and one which I would very happily game.
Looking forward to my next set of test balls and pleasantly surprised

HI Hannah and all the Titleist team
Thanks for the balls - played a couple of rounds, not in ideal conditions, but the balls felt good.
To me they had the reassuring "Titleist" feel which gives me great confidence. Didn't notice any great difference in distance off the tee comparted to my normal NXT Tour, but then the weather didn't help.
They were solid on and around the greens with a pleasant feel and plenty of grip and felt great off the putter (shame abut the damp greens but that's not the balls fault).
Really liked them off my irons (Titleist of course) - seemed to fly well and felt solid with plenty of control
All in all impressed and I haven't come close to losing one yet!
Many thanks

Off the tee with Driver - Found the ball went well in very windy conditions. Low shots were penetrating into the wind.
Shots from the fairway - Little difference to my normal ball
Around the Green - Nice fell off the club face when chipping
On the green - Positive feel off the putter

Great Balls
What are they I must get some, they flew off the club face perfect and gave good distance. My friend used one as well 79 year old he was even getting better straight distance.
Let me know what they are please?

Thank you so much for including me in this years new ball test. Due to the extreme weather we are having in Scotland presently I have not been able to trial the balls as our course has been closed!
Indoor putting practice suggests these balls are softer off the face with a more muted sound than 2015 ProV1 or NXT Tour. 'Keepie. Up' with gap wedge also reveals a softer feel with the ball sitting on the face longer. I do like the sound off the face of my 714 irons. Hopefully improvement in the weather will allow on course testing for distance, control and survival from my often less than perfect swing.

Finally got the chance to test the balls I received, they feel great off the club face. The ball reacted very well when I was hitting short iron approach shots, stopping within two feet of landing with a good strike... although the greens have received a lot of water recently.
A great ball around the greens too! The ball offered a good roll on the putting surface giving me the confidence to hole putts. The ball unfortunately still hits trees just as hard as any other although the paintwork held up well against the hard contacts.
Overall a great ball I would certainly recommend.

Hi TT Staff,
Driver - the ball felt great off the driver face. Good flight and solid. Distance was good.
Irons - The ball flight seemed higher than what I am used to (I normally play a Pro V1x) and they seemed to spin a lot more on the shorter irons, causing me a few issues with distance control.
Wedges - around the green the ball seemed to come off the face a little 'hotter' than I am used to so I struggled with distance control again.
Putter - A little too solid feeling off the face for my liking.
All in all, I would say that this ball is a good, solid mid-price point ball. Great off the tee, good everywhere else.
I hope this helps.
Cheers

Excellent golf ball. Very long off the tee, improved accuracy and brilliant feel around the green. I'm not normally one to generate back spin on my golf ball but was getting a lot with this ball (which took some getting used to). Would definitely recommend.

Just tried the test balls. Whilst the cover looked at little "glossy" for my taste they felt great of the putter and gave a stable flight.

found them to be a bit firmer for me than my gamer ball, which is a soft compression ball. Distance about the same of irons and driver, did spin a bit more off wedges. Its a good ball, but the feel was not for me.

Thank you for including me!!
i am lucky enough to try them against the pro v1, pro v1x, DT Solo and cally chrome soft. I found it wasn't as spinney round greens as v1 and v1x, around level with the chrome soft and more than dts. I was only able to hit full shots with a 6iron on a launch monitor indoors but the flight was again most similar to the chrome soft. One thing one full shots was it felt like the pro v1. Less clicky and loud than the v1x but more responsive feel than chrome soft. With putting again it was similar to v1 in feel which I liked especially over longer putts where I lose response from chrome soft and over hit v1x. I felt it was better than the dts on every level for all shots
i have yet to hit a driver or on a course due to weather but am looking forwarding to it
will I be told which ball I was issued? If so when. As it may be my new ball to take me away from cally if the price is right
prov is just to expensive although my favourite

I found with the test ball that the ball came off the putter face very soft and had a nice roll on it

Hi
The first point I would like to state is that I am a 15 handicapper and play at least 3 x per week even in winter. I tested the balls comparing them against Titleist NXT tour balls and these were my results.
PUTTING
I hit putts from various distances and the test balls were definitely a softer feel. However they travelled the same distances as the NXT tour balls. In fact on one session of 15 foot putts 3 x NXT and 3 x Test balls all finished within inches of each other. Overall I felt the test balls gave the feel of PRO V1 (which I cannot afford to play with as I lose them ha ha).
CHIPPING
I hit chips using 52 deg wedge and an 8 iron. I measured the landing areas as best I could ( I am a 15 handicapper remember) and I hit the chips from 10 and 20 yards to a reasonably dry green. I noticed that the Test balls stopped quicker than NXT with both 52 deg wedge and 8 iron. My chipping is not brilliant but I felt the Test balls allowed me to be more aggressive to the flag.
Iron shots
Due to the soft state of our practice ground I found that iron shots were stopping dead with both NXT and the Test balls. I was using full 7 iron shots. I did notice a slight improvement on distance but that could have been my inconsistent striking. Measured with a GPS I was achieving average 145 yards with the NXT and 148 yards with the Test balls. I did this hitting nine shots with NXT and nine shots with the Test balls
Driver and hybrids
Sorry, due to the weather I have not managed to try the balls with really long clubs as I need our practice ground to be dry enough to find them. I will be playing some informal rounds outside of competitions and may put them in play.
Hope that is ok so far

Hi, first if all thanks for the opportunity to test the new balls. As you will be aware, the weather in the north has not been brilliant and my course has been closed for quite a bit. However, I managed to get 9 holes in last week and used the new balls, really impressed, I seemed to be getting a little more distance of hybrids and irons, driver flew straight and long. The balls seemed to lift off faster than my usual Velocity balls and had a soft feel.
I also asked my pro to hit them on his launch monitor, like me, he liked the soft feel and was getting about 8,500 rpm off a 52 degree wedge. His comment was that it was a quality ball and somewhere around the NXT model.
Hope this helps, would love to know what the ball is.

Hello. First and foremost thank you for the free balls.
I played last Sunday. Probably not the best day to play because of strong winds. But we went out. I hit a good drive and the ball didn't feel too hard. Then I chipped onto the green and in for bogey. And so my game went up until the 10 th where with a fade the wind took it into some trees never to be found.
The balls preformed well. Nice feel off the club face, excellent spin with a wedge, and a nice feel with a putter. My thoughts were they are ProV but I'm not 100%
As always with titleist. Quality and second to non.
