Titleist Velocity Ball

    Just wanted to share, I received a couple of 2014 Velocity balls last week. Thx TT

    I am a smooth hitter and usually have a driver carry of 200 yards and play off 10.

    So I went to the course on Friday and picked out a 00 Velocity ball, Using a 983k Driver down our Par 5 (488 yards)First struck it straight down the middle, it seemed to go a long way. (longer than my normal). I had about 210/ 215 left , pulled out my 909h which I hit to about 15 feet (the ball again took off !!) I then slotted in the putt for a 3. Good ball that 00

    I used it for the rest of the holes I played (about 10) This Ball Goes Miles !! Although the slight downside I felt it was a touch on the firm side for chipping and putting for my liking.. Having said that the distance gains were Exceptional, so I Will put in play for the next medal especially as the greens are not quite slick yet. This could be the best kept secret in golf. =-)

    Firstly thanks as well for the two new Velocity balls that popped through my door at the weekend.

    This is the ball I often use as well as the Pro V1.

    All I can say is Titleist you have done it again. Straighter, longer and best of all I think a tad softer and a nicer noise of every shot.

    Even my putter likes the noise and thats a putter that was brought up on the Titleist balkata 100.

    Just like to say well done Titleist and thanks again.
