I wouldn't mind some advice with this either! My 'soft hands' approaches aren't currently working either, maybe its the bad weather we have had here in the Midlands?

Try putting a bit more weight onto the leading leg in your stance and slightly open the club face, that should help you utilize the grooves a bit more - goes without saying that a softer ball will help you spin a lot better too so if you're not already, try a Pro V1 or 1x to help out.

Without a doubt Pro V1 or 1x a must. Try keeping your hands ahead of the ball, hit down on it and punch it in low. One hop forward then check.. (hopefully)

I have been gaming ProV1x's for about the last 18 months gents, with the weather picking up I'm seeing a lot more check off the greens. Really didn't help with all the sand and crowning etc going on through the winter.
