Kentucky Course recommendations

Valhalla is a short drive away towards Lousiville...that would be a great spot.

Kearney Hills in Lexington is a links style course that used to host a Celebrity Tour event. One of my favorite public tracts. Houston Oaks in Paris is another.

If you want to go a little more North, there's a great stay-and-play called Perry Park. It's one of the best guys golfing trips I've ever been on. It's in a dry county, so you can BYOB; the food is some of the best I've ever had; and the course is great. You can't beat the pricing for what you get either. The only problem is, they might have extremely limited availability this September.
