    Scheduling a business trip Nov 11-13 for the NY area. I see that the course is closed on the 12th. How hard will it be to walk-on as a single either in the later afternoon on the 11th or the 13th in the morning?

    I am a Bethpage regular and play the Black course at least 4-5 times a month. If you get there early it should not be a problem as a single. I would advise getting there between 6:30-7am. Monday will be harder because its a holiday and many people are off from work. Wednesday should be much easier. If you have a chance to get in another round, i would highly suggest playing the red course as well. I think its the second best public course on LI. Good luck and enjoy!
