Stay warm Chuck! Deep freeze here as well. They picked a good week to close the club for renovations. Glad to hear that warmer weather is on the way soon for you. Still going to be cold the early part of next week, here in Atlanta. Hoping for some decent weather next weekend and getting back out on the course.

I am jealous of you all....it will be a HIGH of 4 tomorrow, with a wind chill of -10. Just about everything is closed. I would love a temp approaching 50, and would really love to play Pumpkin Ridge! Lol!

Yep, it's been really cold here in the Charlotte, NC area as well. We have been fortunate to avoid any precipitation. The forecast says we will be in low to mid 50's by middle of next week. That will feel like summer after this week. Posting to this site is helping with my golf fix while I stay inside and look at my clubs sitting in the den. I don't want to wish the time away as it goes fast enough. But I'm ready to play. Cheers!!

Cleared off the snow and did at least get out of the house this afternoon. Made a run to Publix for some groceries. Still a bit of snow and ice on the roads. Hope the sun comes out tomorrow and the meltdown continues. This storm had an effect on the whole east coast. The newscaster said tonight that we have one about every decade. That's enough. Early winter.

Chill factor was around 13* and maybe the sun would have come out tomorrow or the next tomorrow. Was not going anywhere so nothing to worry about. Courses will probably be open maybe Wednesday this week. Still a about two inches still in my front yard. We were very fortunate, we did not loose any power like others did in this area due to ice. SCDOT did a great job keeping the two big bridges open. The airport opened yesterday finally. That was up the Air Force, who controls the runways. Interesting start to 2018. Can't wait to get to Australia this spring.

Wow Chuck, you are not going to get any sympathy out of me but crazy to see you guys with snow. Lucky we got our low of -7 lifted this weekend and might warm up next week. This winter is beyond old just as it started! Hang in there buddy!

Bad news - you've had more snow than south central Wisconsin this year. Good news - your 5 inches will be gone over the weekend. My 4 inches since 12/22 will be here into February (assuming no refuels in the meantime).
