San Diego Trip - Scotty Cameron Gallery

    Planning a trip to visit San Diego sometime in March hopefully I can get out for a round of golf. From other threads it looks like Torrey Pines or Maderas are the places to go. Besides that has anyone gone to the Scotty Cameron Gallery. Would it be worth taking the time to check it out?

    Michael, do yourself a favor and set up a putter fitting at the gallery. It's an amazing experience!

    Like others in this community I have been to the gallery many times (I live in Ohio, so it is worth the travel!) and I enjoy playing the two courses you mentioned however these courses are equally great! The Grand Del Mar (lots of hills) and Barona Resort/Casino...you will have lots of fun! Also, check out the micro brewery on Coronado Island (Coronado Island Brew Co.) great food and beer!

    Are you going to get fitted at the Titleist TPI Facility in Oceanside just up the street while you are there??

    Its is worth every min or it and yes set up a fitting, You learn so much about the art of putting there and i recommend it to any one that wants to really enjoy the game. The staff there is amazing.

    Thank you for the responses I will have to look into the fitting session and see if I can make it work. I will be there with my brother who is an industrial designer so I do not think it will be hard to convince him to go.
