    Heading down Friday with the family and staying till Thursday... My wife is allowing me one round so trying to pick a good one.. You're right though, it's very pricey but if i can only play once i guess i'll play there.. At the moment i have a tee time for Monday.

    Not staying in Naples but will be staying with my parents in Bonita Springs, FL.

    I'm in Marco, but will be at the Cards-Red Sox game in Ft Meyers on Monday. I've played a few of the local "public" courses in Naples and they are nice, but I can play equally nice courses at home for a third of the price at our peak time of year.

    I played the "Black" course last Summer. I was impressed by the course layout, condition and facilities. The course offers a very nice test without being too penal. I wanted to play the "Gold" course the same day but it was closed for renovations, however; I would play the course again if ever in Naples.

    Just seeing this thread now, so you’ve probably (hopefully) already played. I play both Tiburon courses regularly; I definitely favor the gold course, but both are great. I’ve had the opportunity to play both and the recent redesign of the Black course was a huge improvement. Gold course certainly favors the longer hitters, and the Black is tighter and shorter. I would consider it pricey, but they use a dynamic pricing schedule, so depending on the time of year, you can easily get in 18 holes after 3 PM. There is also the shark pass, which for $110 gets you 12 passes for $45-85 greens fees. I’ve played many of the courses in the area, but I’d consider this a must play if you’re in Naples.
