Snowbound in Connecticut as well.  I did manage to get out and play on January 12, but it's looking bleak for the next few weeks. I've a 23 consecutive month playing streak going, so I'm hoping this clears in February so I can keep that going.

Yep.  Southern PA here.  Bitter cold and just enough snow to be annoying.

Same scenario here in York.  I managed to get out a twice a couple weeks ago.  This needs to go away.

We got a teaser last Wed and it was 48 degrees in RI.  Got out to play, a little wet, but none the less...still played.  Now we are stuck with frozen snow on the ground and no warm up in sight.

Hopefully it won't last too long.  I am ok with the cold, but the snow has to go.....

Cape Cod here. Was out on Jan 19, but snowed in since.  Drove by Falmouth CC today and the 41* got us close. With the chilly setting back in I think the little bit of snow remaining will be there for a while more.

Any TT members stuck in the snow like me?  Pennsylvania here.

In Utah we have the snow, and even worse we have the ugly inversion.... Most have read I would assume that Salt Lake this past week was the worst air in the Nation.  With that being said, sure makes a beautiful winter picture....

Steve, there has to be some drawback to living in the middle of the Rockies.  I well remember those inversions from my time at the U on the East Bench.  You could see all the way across the valley, but not the valley floor.

Central Mass., with a brand new set of 714 AP2's and beautiful bag, sitting here near the door dying for some action. You can only look at them and practice chipping in the living room for so long, watching the best troop around San Diego and the Middle East desert in stellar weather. The new sticks make the anticipation worse than most years. Think spring and hope that whatever that rodent in PA has to do next week actually happens.

I've mentioned this in another thread with the same "snowed-in" theme, but if you live within driving distance of Middleton, MA or Syracuse, NY there is a chain called Optigolf (more locations tba)... it is a simulated golf - sports bar. Has anyone been to one of these places before? Nothing beats the real thing, but when it's 12 degrees, there's two feet of snow on the ground and you got that itch, it's a great alternative.

I know there are a handful of similar establishments in the Northeast region - but I can't help give this place a free plug. If your a golf nut, I can't think of a better place to hang out on a Saturday/Sunday afternoon with some golf buddies. The simulators are pretty accurate... I'd say 5-10 yard difference than that of your actual yardages... they also give you as much time as you need on the simulated range to gauge your yardages before you start your round. The course menu is pretty substantial... plenty of notable tracks to play. The beers and mixed drinks are modestly priced... not gonna break the bank. And they got a couple hot waitresses/bartenders that will wait on you hand and foot... don't think I could draw up a better business plan myself... though they probably get killed the other 7 months out of the year.

If your in the area, you can't beat it.

Guys, I have to say I would not recommend opti golf. Not because of the set up or anything like that but I lived in Rochester, NY until 2013 and was a board member of a charity organization which held a large annual indoor golf tournament there every year. Long story short, the closed the facility the 3rd year 3 weeks before our tournament was scheduled without notifying us and getting a refund for the deposit is in a legal battle. Regardless, if you're in Rochester and need somewhere for indoor golf once the weather gets bad again, Wild Wood CC in Rush has two great simulators that are set up year round. Website is www.golfwildwood.com. I live in SE PA but I'm a former member there and it's a great setup. -SM

Bronx, NY course is covered in snow. It is supposed to get into the 40's this weekend, but will not be warm enough to melt the snow. Problem is it's too cold for too long to melt the snow.

Cape Cod here…bundled up and played this past weekend.  We may have been the only course open for miles.  Now we are snow covered again.  But will enjoy the recent memory and hope for a quick melt.

If it warms up again, I'll be hitting you up for that couch spot.  I gotta get back out on the links!!

I am in CT and I have not played outdoors since 12/29.  If was not for a near by indoor facility I would have gone batty by now.

Temps are supposed to be in the 40's and 50's so the melting will begin in earnest in a day or two.

    Thank god !!

In Michigan we've been under snow since December.  It's been simulators, heated tees, and golf domes for us who can't afford to take a trip out of this arctic to go play some golf somewhere warm.  Can't wait till April when the snow finally clears and get to play on real grass again!

Stuck in Weymouth, MA here. Last time I played was on St. Thomas right before Thanksgiving. Headed to Vegas in a couple weeks, so looking forward to escaping the cold for a few days!

It's snowing here again today.  We can usually play in MA by St. Paddy's, but it's not looking good.

Here in NYC/NJ, we've seen a glimpse of temps that could possibly melt the blackened ice heaps that have taken the role of freeway and road barriers...but looking at the forecast for the next 7 days this is just that, a glimpse. I've had it with this weather. It seems never-ending so I've given up trying to predict when I will be next teeing it up. I think the nearby courses are at least 1 month away from thawing out.

Ah well, I shall just continue on with working on the swing through TPI workouts but I know for sure that once i do get to open up my crisp box of Team Titleist ProV1x's from the San Diego invitational, it will be an extra special feeling.

Mike D and Joe H, any chance of getting a glimpse of the TT San Diego Group photograph? So we can reminisce?

This winter just won't stop.  Too wet and muddy to play today and tomorrow the temps are suppose to drop back into the 30s with an inch of snow overnight.  I'm done with winter.  Making plans for golf next weekend, so hopefully things warm up and dry out by Friday!

I hear ya.  I've still got 3'' of snow to melt before I even get to the mud.  Worse. Winter. Ever.

Great video Mike!!!  Those invitationals looks like a lot of fun and looking at the sunny weather is killing me....  Last Saturday in NH it was 50 something but the snow on the ground still has a lot of melting to go..  Golf simulator is keeping me busy but it's not the same...   And i don't see any sign of relief.   May be time to move south :).

Happy St. Paddy's day everyone and hopefully get to play with some of the TT members soon..

    Cheers everyone!

Just NE of Binghamton, NY and the golf course I work at has an anticipated date to open of April 11th, ha! I live on top of a mountain and even though the snow is going slowly, I still have walls of frozen ice/snow 3' high from shoveling all winter and the ground is covered by 10"+ for the time being. The ice jams in the river below will probably cause our low end on the course to flood but I hope it breaks before it backs up to far. One area executive par 3 is under water and it refroze like a skating rink. Our local TV channel ran a spot of the restaurant/Irish Pub bowling frozen turkeys through chairs set up like wickets and threaten to make it an annual event, ha! I sure hope it goes soon so I can get away from the nets and simulators!
