New Titleist TSR Drivers spotted on TOUR!
TSR Drivers are the next generation of the most played drivers on TOUR, and they are making their worldwide debut this week at the Travelers Championship.
We are extremely excited to track the tour seeding and validation process. Titleist Golf Club Experts have been collaborating with the game’s best players throughout the R&D process, and now it’s time to earn their final validation on the world’s biggest stage.
Our Tour Representatives have been on site working with players this week at TPC River Highlands, fitting them into the new TSR models and gathering their performance feedback.
Stay tuned to this thread and our social channels for updates as we track and share the Tour validation process over the coming weeks across the worldwide professional tours.
What Team Titleist is Saying About New TSR Drivers
First impressions are always important, especially when it comes to adding new equipment to the bag for the first time. Hear what Team Titleist had to say about new TSR models as they took their first test drives on the range at TPC River Highlands.

"It's just got a little more classic shape to it,” said Brand Ambassador Lee Hodges. “Maybe not as pointy on the back as the last one, kind of more rounded. Fill-wise it's still solid in the middle, but the misses seem like it stays on the golf course a little better.”
Brand Ambassador Chesson Hadley also shared his thoughts his new TSR3 Driver he added to the bag this week.
“I've hit both the TSR3 and the TSR2. They're both amazing. I think what Titleist did so well is that they maintain the shape of the prior generation, the TSI2 generation or the TSI generation, but just increased performance. When I set down the three and the two, it just looked like the exact same driver I've been hitting, but I'm getting better performance, which is like 100% what us pros want, is to look down at the same thing every time and not feel like we're changing stuff up."
"We're just getting better just by switching equipment. So, I mean, you couldn't ask for a better driver. I'm tickled. I love it. It's phenomenal. I mean, the head cover looks great. It looks good with the bag. I'm pretty stoked to put it into play this week.”
“It looks like a Ferrari,” Hadley continued. “It’s just so clean. You've got to like the way it looks and feels, and Titleist definitely has mastered both of that. I'm pretty juiced about it.”
"That was that fast". Brand Ambassador Hank Lebioda met TSR this week, raving about the ball speed gains he saw with the new Driver.
Brand Ambassador Wyndham Clark, who currently ranks in the top-five on the PGA Tour for Driving Distance (averaging over 318 yards off the tee!) also got his first swings in with new TSR models this week.
"I just love the way the Driver looks," said Clark. "I love the way it sets up. I'm really sensitive to aesthetics and TSR2 and TSR3 set up exactly how I want."
Putting the fast in #FindYourFaster. While testing new TSR models, Brand Ambassador CT Pan saw ball speed gains of 2-3 miles per hour, along with less spin to provide a perfect mixture off the tee.
In addition 18 players made the immediate switch to new TSR models this week in Connecticut, with Brand Ambassador JT Poston leading the charge, firing a first round 62 (-8).
