    Dear Team Titleist Members,

     

    As I'm sure you know, the Open Championship is once again just around the corner, and we at Team Titleist South East Asia would like to give you another chance to win some golf balls. We have just received our first batch of Exclusive Team Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1X golf balls, and will be giving away 2 Dozen to the winner of this competition.

     

    The question is: How many golfers will be playing a Titleist Golf Ball at the 2011 Open Championship. The first correct answer (or closest correct answer in the instance that no one gets it) will win. You can chose if you want the Pro V1 or Pro V1X balls.

     

    The entry list is available at: http://www.opengolf.com and a list of Titleist Brand Ambassadors can be found at: http://www.titleist.com.sg/players/. Simply post your answer in this discussion thread.

     

    This competition will end at 12pm (Singapore Time) on Thursday the 14th of July 2011.

    hi it's me again...

    here is my educated guess...

    out of the 156 players... 99 players will be playing titleist

    ===

    explanation.... again i googled players using titleist... 89 players

    and found out that 51 players were not playing titleist.... 

    and wasn't sure about 16 other players...

     

    out of the sample size = 140 (89+51) ,  aprox. 63.57% (89/140) were using titleist....

    and applying this to the other 16... approx 10 will be expected to use titleist (63.57% x 16)

     

    thus 89 + 10 = 99 players...

    if given two more guesses.... i'd add +/- 1 for statistical variance...  98 or 100
