  1. I am thinking about sending in my Champions Choice Button Back Putter to the Scotty custom shop to get some custom stamping done. Has anyone recently done this? How long does the process take? When could I expect to get my putter back etc.?

    Thanks in advance!

Expect 1 to 2 months during most cases.

I’ve done this twice this year. I sent them a Super Select Newport 2 in February and it took about 7 weeks for them to get it back to me. Then I sent in a Special Select NP2 in April (that I got a deal on) for reshaft/grip/stamping, and it was a 3 week turnaround. Around the same time (late April) my cousin had his Newport 2 heavily customized and it took about 3 weeks.

I just had my Concept X CX-01 sent in for some work. Had them install an alignment dot, regrip and add a shaft ring, along with headcover. Entire process from me sending to them until the yellow box appeared on my doorstep was 6 weeks.

I have sent 2 of my putters in and depending when in the year and how much customizing you have done. One I sent to have regripped and lengthen the shaft and a minor color change it took 4 weeks. The other had mnore customization it took 2 months.

10 weeks total but that included tack welding additional material to bring the 2008 Studio Select back to spec. Came out great and highly recommend.

For what it's worth, I sent in my Champions Choice earlier this month for a grip, new shaft, head cover, and sight dot. They got it on July 9th, and I got it back today, just over a two week process door to door.

  9. I have sent back numerous putters over the years for stamping, restoration, shaft replacement, etc...

It usually takes between 4-8 weeks for processing plus whatever shipping method you choose... depending on the time of year and how busy they are. I almost always pick expedited shipping back to me since it is a small cost relative to the bigger picture plus I just cant wait to get my putter back from the Custom Shop!

    IMHO
