Living in New England, when April rolls around we usually start seeing some signs of Spring, the snow pack is typically gone and most importantly... the local golf courses are starting to set some pins.
And this all seems to perfectly coordinate with the start of the Masters. For me, there is just something special about the Masters and everything that goes along with it. From Monday to Sunday it's like a symphony of golf that builds to a crescendo until the green jacket is passed to the new champion.
Then the countdown to next year begins...
Every year, I try to keep my tradition going. It's nothing too crazy but I always try to get an early tee time on Sunday, grab a quick lunch and then head back to the house to settle in for a marathon of Masters action.
It's simple but effective.
How about everyone else... what's your Masters tradition?
