  1. 12/15/24 - Hole in One Trilogy Golf Club at Power ranch. #11; 8 iron 9:30 time and we were playing with Zak, his old boss and Matt, Zak's son in law (the four of us played together earlier in the year, same course). It was chilly and the 3 pm high was to be 70. Had my lucky yellow ASU hat on. Was inconsistent the front nine but started better the back side. Bogey on ten then the 157 yard 11th hole, Zak hit first. From the tee box he looked to be pin high, right of flag on the apron. After he hit I said, 'ok each guy hits it a little closer to the hole then I will put it in'. Guys say stuff. Matt hit his off the green left long. Elrycc hit his into left greenside bunker. I was next. No glove, 8 iron, old Titleist white ProV1 with blue markings on it, not new, full tee pushed into ground. No wind, sunny day. It felt right. I hit it straight and low (normal for me). It hit the green and was tracking to the hole. Matt and Elrycc were excited. They were saying it is going in. I watched expecting close or too far. When it disappeared I thought maybe there was a down slope after the hole and that is why we lost sight of it. Matt was jogging down right side and he said I think it is in. Elrycc said it too. I high fived Zak who was closest to me then hugs and fist bumps and high fives and chaos. Grabbed my 8 iron off ground where I had dropped it and we went to the carts to find the ball. Elrycc videoed me jogging over to the hole. I did not see the ball on the green, no hill to hide it from us. I peered over and saw the Titleist 1 name in the cup bottom. I pointed then smiled and clapped. We were all in shock. I hit my first hole in one! [it was a found ProV1 #1, with blue markings on it, probably refurbished] Zak was short of the cup on the green, not pin high, Elrycc hit his sand shot and hit the flag and got a bogey. Scores didn't matter the rest of the day. I was walking on air in disbelief. Elrycc told our golf friends via text, and sent the video to some. When I put a one down for the hole in 18birdies it said congratulations. 63 years old, golfing for 50 and got my first hole in one.
