On August 2, 2024 I was playing in the first day of an Invitational. On the par 3 7th hole at Clifton Springs Golf Club in Clifton Springs, New York, while it was drizzling, I stepped up to the tee using a hybrid for a shot around 124 yards. When my ball hit the downslope of the sandtrap in front of the green, it bounced once and disappeared going directly towards the flag stick. We all looked at one another thinking the ball could be in the hole. When we approached the green and I looked in the hole, viola, there was my golf ball. My first hole-in-one!
