I was playing a casual round with my Dad for Father's Day. Teed off around 2:30 PM for a twilight round before our Father's Day dinner with the family. The first two holes are very mediocre and the swing wasn't feeling right. Got to the range with 10 min to go and only got about 5 balls in before we were called up. Coming up on the 3rd hole, a par 3 shooting about 139 yards slightly uphill. Took a couple of practice swings and let it rip. The ball popped off the face flying slightly left. I played it to the left side of the green with a breeze flowing to the right and my natural fade I felt that it would need to fly a little left to get it near the middle. The ball bounced just left of the cup and we saw the flag jiggle. My father and I assumed it hit the pin and bounced back to the back of the green. As we approached the green there was no sight of the ball. After a minute or so a lady on the tee box next to the green mentioned that she thinks it went in... thanks for the excitement lady. Lol. We look in the hole and there it is! After the round I bought my dad and the last that witnessed it a beer. Great way to spend Father's Day.
