I had just joined a club for the first time in my golf career and was excited to get to know everyone throughout the season. During the second weekly men’s league I got my first hole in one, which helped me a lot in getting to know everyone, especially when they all get a free beer from the club for it! Took me a lot less time than expected for everyone to get to know my name!

The hole in one itself was really fun to watch. Landed it on a slope about 8 yards away from the hole and it took a good few seconds for it to roll toward the hole and drop. There was a lot of time to shout” get in the hole” from my teammates!
