Today I carded my first hole in one. I was playing at Avalon Country Club's New Castle Field Club, one of four 18 hole courses that our country club owns. Playing partners were Ken Alexander, and Jim Jackson.

Hole #13, a par 3, was playing 102 yards downhill to a green that slopes from back to front and left to right.

Using my 9 iron, I hit my tee shot over the flag landing about 4 yards beyond and to the left of the flag stick. It checked up and gently rolled down the hill and into the cup!
