  1. I'd like to share the story of my best friend's first hole-in-one. I'm Hwoijin Jeon, and my best friend is Minho Kim. We usually play at Morris Williams Golf Course every Friday morning. On Memorial Day, we were both off, so we teed off at 6:50. Normally, we play from the blue tees, but my driver was being repaired, so I played from the white tees while Minho played from the black tees.

We played well on the front nine, with Minho being 1 over and me 2 over. When we reached hole 14, a par 3 with a yardage of 186, Minho used his 4-iron. His swing was smooth, and the sound was perfect. The ball landed just one foot in front of the pin and then rolled right into the hole. We looked at each other, hearts pounding with excitement. When we approached the flag, we didn’t see the ball at first, but then we found it in the cup. We were shocked and yelled in excitement. I got goosebumps all over because it was his first hole-in-one, and I witnessed it. That moment is unforgettable.

After our round, we went to the pro shop with Russ and Neil to report the hole-in-one. The rep gave us a form to fill out and said he would send it to the Austin American-Statesman for publication. Sometimes they print it, and sometimes they don't. Minho bought drinks for all of us, and they were the best I've ever had.

Minho loves Titleist and has been using a TSR2 driver, a TSR2 5-wood, Vokey wedges, and a Titleist Pro V1x ball. He's planning to switch his irons to the T100 after summer.
