  1. 4-Hybrid or 7-wood?

    What do you play?

Depends on your skill level and comfort with different types of clubs. Personally I don't see a fairway or hybrid as a viable option, so I play a 20 degree U505 that I can carry 225 and will hold a green. Fills the gap between 4 iron (205 carry) and 3 wood (245 carry).

I am in the same boat as Brock except I use a T200 3 iron 20 Deg to gap between the 3 wood and 4 iron.

I would look at it like this, if you are filling a gap then whichever one is going to be easier for you to hit and hold greens is the one I would play.

Without knowing what your other clubs are for distance it's hard to say what is going to be your best option. By looking at your bag it looks like you run Driver, 3,5,7 wood, 5 - Gap in irons and 56 & 60 wedges.

I just recently picked up that same club, 90 gram ad-hy, I just love it so easy to get it up vs a long iron

    Neither - U505 2i (210-230). Those look sexy, though!

200-210 is a 4 iron with my T100-S. My 210-230 is the TS2 5 wood. Had the 3 hybrid but switched things up and love the move.

Love the set up by the way!
  9. I play a 4 hybrid in that spot... but as I have gotten better at hitting fairways, a 7 wood would probably be more effective in a lot of places. It's a case where I could see having both and swapping them out based on the course. Wide open fairways - 7 wood. Narrow fairways and ugly rough - bring the 4 hy.

Hybrids have been my Achilles, so Iwould be in-between with either my 4 iron or a slight choke down on my 5 wood that is lofted up to A4. Honestly more comfortable going with the 5W.

In my dreams. Heck, at my age, will be 78 very soon is my driver for those distances. But of course cannot use a tee on the fairways. So hope for a strong three wood (14.25*). Hakuna matata.

4i or 3i, depending on conditions.
  13. I'm playing a 818H1 23° tho I'd love to demo a 7wood but finding one in left is challenging.
  14. Personally I generally go either 4 iron or 4 hybrid for my lengths. Generally like the iron to try and hold the green. But not nearly as consistent as my hybrid for that 215 shot

7 wood to me is more versatile. You can still punch it low and work it same as a hybrid but the added forgiveness really helps when you're trying to do something stupid.
  16. I play a T200 4 iron for 200 yard shots and a TSi 7 wood for 220. Anything in between is just praying.
  17. I find the 4 hybrid is more versatile. High lofted fairway woods have improved alot the last few years though. High and straight
  18. From the short grass, it's a 5W for me. Out of the rough 4H, hit it and hope, but likely will need to add a 58 degree to make it to the pin.

4i or 3hy, depending on slope and wind.

I would probably choose between 7w & 4i. Like everyone else it would depend on lie, wind etc. But I also know what my "misses" are with both so it also depends what danger there is that either club might get me into.

    Hybrid for me
  22. 4i

For me I would use these since I don't carry a hybrid or 7 Wood.
