Sorry i forgot to coment of Mr. Crysler's video it was a great tip and i think full used of the grip is importatn in short game.
Spin has to do with your angle of attack and your club release. with out seeing how your hitting or what shot your trying to gain spin on its hard to give exact advice. but one thing to try is much like that video said and also place the ball alittle further back in your stance and always excelerate threw the ball comit to every shot. You'll be surprised hot much a full comitment affects even bad shots. Just last week i went to flop a shot and i miss juged my distance. i was on a three tear green off the edge and the hole was across the creen two tears down. these were fast greens to i didnt trust a bumpt and run chip. i tryed to flop right on the down ward break of the last tear. but becouse of a full comitment i did produce enuff spin to one hope stop. Had the shot been right i would have droped on the top of the slope and it would have rolled down slowly close to the whole. Like i said before i over hit it. It landed soft as advertised and stoped with a 7 footer for par. witch i made but the point is. a bad shot with a full comitment usually provides better results then a yipped chip couse i second guessed my self. Also besure your not using a two year old wedge that has alot of playing time on it.

How many times have you been told accelerate thru the shot?
Add 2 more, because
"this allows you to be more AGGRESSIVE thru the shot" and "FULL COMMITMENT to the shot" both mean accelerate thru the shot.
There is another reason choking down causes more spin, you wouldn't think a pro needs that as a reminder to accelerate thru the shot?

If you're not hitting the ball past the pin, you really don't need "more spin"
