913D3 stock length

    Hello all. I have a 913D3 and am trying to determine if it is stock length, or slightly shorter. I think this driver was 45" stock length, but please correct me if this is wrong. As best as I can measure it, when the sole is flat on the ground it is 45" to the butt of the grip. As another reference, the shaft measures 44" from the adatper tip to the grip butt. Shaft is the Diamana Blue 62+ Stiff. I am planning to shorten by 1".

    Correct on both your original length measurement being 45" and the shaft from tip to butt of grip should measure 44".
    If shortening the shaft by 1" you will have to put additional weight into the head to get it back to original swing weight.

    Correct. This will likely change the lie angle that may need hosel adjustments as well as lead tape to restore the SW. 913 weights will be easier to find than a Unicorn, but not by much. It’s been 10 years since they were sold.
