  1. I am currently in the market to upgrade my irons. I currently use Turbo Pro XL titanium irons. What would be a good option to switch to without breaking the bank?

You should spend the initial money to get fit at a Titleist fitting.
They will put you into the best clubs for your game, and the fitting fee is removed from the final price.

What the hell are Turbo Pro XL irons? Hard to make any suggestions based on that.

Go to eBay and find a starter set for $500, as you progress, you can upgrade. Choose Titleist clubs that are more for game improvement, like the T300/400's. Good equipment should be properly fit, and certainly isn't cheap. Good Luck!
