  1. Looking for wedge gapping on new T150 irons. The 44° Pw is throwing me for a loop. I currently carry 50, 54, 58°. Considering buying T100 Pw (46°), so I can keep my current wedge setup. Thoughts?

  2. That's what I did with my T150 setup, but I have a Vokey SM9 46° instead of T100. I also carry 50° and 56° Vokeys. However, I still carry the 44° pw to have another chipping option and to help cover the 6° gap to the 9i.
I've always carried a 46° and 56° no matter what my setup is.

    I went 44 PW, 50 Vokey @49, 54 Vokey and 58 Vokey, works great.
  4. Can't speak for the 150s but I have the T100s with sadness lifts, the matching gap wedge (48) is my favourite club, I then carry 54 and 60 in vokeys, 6 degrees gaping at that end of the bag works fine as you're often hitting partial shots anyway.
  5. Can't speak for the 150s but I have T100s with same lofts, I carry the matching gap wedge (48) and it's become my favourite club, I then carry 54 and 60 in Vokeys. 6 degree gasping at that end of the bag works fine as you're often hitting partial shots and manipulating the flight anyway

    I just stuck with the 48 that matches the set, then a 52, 56, and 60 wedge…sometimes I’ll drop the 60 and add a hybrid, depending where I’m playing…
  7. I also have a t150 set. I bought a three set of sm10s in december. I have a 50 56 60 but that is my own preference. As to the gapping. Me personally i hit my pw about 135-140 and my 50 goes 120-125. It may be a couple of yards off, but i am very adapt with my irons and wedges and can put some extra distance on a club or take some off so for me i have 0 issues with the gapping. Wont be very often anyway that anyone hits full power wedge shots too manipulate the ball more.
Id say stick with the 50!!

    When I had T100S (5-PW) - same lofts as T150 - I had 48* T100S (also tried Vokey 48*), 52* and 58*. This left room at the top of the bag for 3wood, 5wood and 4hybrid.

What about just bending your 50* to 49* while keeping 54* and 58*? Probably just have to dial in the yardage with 49* (to keep a gap to PW) instead of introducing a new club altogether.
  9. I just received my new T150’s and was in the same situation. Talking to my fitter, we decided on having my PW at 45 then go with 50, 54, 58.

In all honesty, a few degrees isn't going to hurt you. You can 3/4 and Full swing your PW to make up the difference, just work at it a little.

    Agree with Edward K.
Learn to partial swing choke up on the PW to cover the yardage gaps.
When you need to replace your 50 degree wedge, then buy a 48 instead.

I honestly have my 50 degree sitting in the closet and I run 46, 54, 60 Vokeys and I have an extra club in the long end of the bag. I never used my 50 for anything but 115-120 yards. I never chipped with it. So I learned to do everything with my 46 or 54 degree. I know if I choke up half an inch on my 46 I will hit it 115. So the 50 really hasn't been missed. I probably only used it 1-2 shots a month when it was in the bag. I could go multiple rounds without needing using it.

If you go with a T100 PW, you are just moving your gap problem from the PW and Gap Wedge to the PW and 9 iron. It won't solve anything.

    Your big gap would be 40, 46, 50 instead of 40, 44, 50.

    I have T150 irons and went to a SM10 48*, a SM10 54*/08 and a 60*/04. I seldom carry the 60* club because the 54* club is so versatile.

Buy the T150 48 gap wedge (or Vokey 48).

    I have T150 44 and 48 … and thence.

The Vokey 46 or 48 degree may be a better option than the T150 PW. I had the same issue with my T150's and was able to sort it out by puting the Vokey 48 degree in my bag.

When I got fitted for my SM10 in May 2024 , I ask to fitter what my wedge set up should be as I was looking at upgrading my current 718 AP2 in the near future and this is what he suggested.
if upgrading to T100 go with the following set up
    PW at 46
    GW at 50
    SW at 54
    LW at 58

if upgrading to T150 go with the following set up
    PW at 44
    GW at 48 ( T150 or Vokey )
    SW at 53 ( vokey 54 bent to a 53 )
    LW at 58

if upgrading to T200 go with the following set up
    PW at 43
    GW at 48 ( T200 )
    SW at 53 ( vokey 54 bent to a 53 )
    LW at 58
