If you hit your friend's 3W super pure, I would buy the exact same model and shaft that your friend has, and set it to the same Sure-Fit setting.

I use a TS2 5W set to 19.5 degrees. No reason to update it since I hit it so well. I had a TS2 3W that was so deadly until the face caved in... I bought a TSR2...then TSR3 to replace it. I wish I had just bought another old TS2 3W instead.
