I moved from the tsi3 to the gt3 (same ventus black tr 6x) and am curious if anyone else has changed their loft when making the switch due to the change in weighting for the gt3. I went from an 8° tsi to 9° gt suggested by the fitter. I have good speed and a high apex, also hit 3-4° up on driver but it looked like gt spins slightly less. So I assume that 1° of loft is trying to match those launch conditions I had before. Just wondering if anyone else had the same experience.

I am in the GT2 which is giving me the same dynamic loft as my TSR3 but during my fitting I was also told that most people were going up 1 degree in the GT3 due to the forward weights.

I went from TSR at 9 degrees to 10 degrees in the GT3 I have the HZURDUS black Gen 5XS this driver is a beast It actually launches very nicely. I'm glad I gave it a try. I'm a few months from being 61 years old. I have a very fast tempo so I actually can hit a stiffer shaft.
  4. I went the opposite direction from a 10° TSR2 to a 8° GT3. The added rollout on top of the carry distance increase is incredible.
  5. I went from TSR3 9* to the GT3 10* turned down to 9.25 to get same launch with thee Graphite design ADVF 6s tipped 1/2". Loved my TSR3 but the GT3 gave me more speed and shaft took away draw.

    What I had - TSR2 at 10degrees in the A2 position.

What I went to - GT3 at 11degrees in the B1 position, 1 inch shorter in length, same shaft weight and flex but a different shaft profile.

Ball speed increased from high 150's to low 160's.
  7. Fit into the TSi3 8* in D1 and was just fit into GT3 8* in D1. Still goes fairly high but had a significant spin reduction.
