  1. So I recently did some experimenting with clubs for my home course. My g410 hybrid wasn't as reliable off the tee as I would like, especially into the wind and my 4 iron wasn't long enough for the 400 yard holes. Before shelling out money on fittings and potentially a new weapon, I dug my old 2002 DCI 762 2 iron out of the garage to see if it was still an option. To my surprise, with the trusty dynamic gold S300 shaft I found it still gets out there at 240+ yards (arccos verified) with a strong flight into the wind. It has therefore earned its spot back in my bag. Out of curiosity, who has old clubs they still game at a high level and what are they?

I still play png Eye 2 copper sand wedge 52 degree. Nothing yet can compare to feel or bounce. This club is so versatile and yet no one company has copied the bounce in this club.

The reason I go for a fitting when new equipment is announced to help my game over my old equipment. Once I replace that equipment and I sell it to friends at a fair market price. Do not have room for clubs to set around.

I do have one set of the original AP2s and png Pal 2, beryllium putter, never play them. Sentimental reasons.

Oldest club in my bag is the 2013 Scotty Cameron Del Mar. Absolutely adore it!

I bet nobody can top a 1962 Acushnet Bullseye putter. The oldest club in my bag is a Sumo2 SQ 34 hybrid. I have a PNG G10 in my reserve bag and I sometimes take my Dad’s clubs out.

I have a 695 MB 8 iron in my regular playing bag and Sumo2 SQ 34H. I have my Dad’s bag as a memorial and occasionally take some out to the course. I occasionally bring the 1962 Bullseye to the course.

My oldest club is a putter that I will use occasionally when I am practicing. It's a Walter Hagen 8802 clone, Ben Crenshaw. If I am on my putting game, I can make contact on the sweet spot most of the time. If not, it could be a long day.

I still have the 906 F fairway wood Pro force V2 85 gm stiff. I hit it so straight I can't part with it. It is long as well. Just got the GT3 driver with the Gen 5 Hzurdus black 66gm XS love it.

Definitely not the oldest, but I game Titleist 712 MB/CB combo.
Tried getting Miz Mp20HMB and T200s. Kept both only for one month before selling them and going back to the 712s.

  11. I still game the 917 D3 driver. I have tried others and some are longer, but none are more accurate and workable for me.

My oldest club is probably my Scotty Studio Stainless Center-Shafted Prototype. I think I've used this putter since around 2001. It went in for a "spa" treatment last Fall. It still knows how to put the ball into the hole

I'll throw an original png Anser in the bag every so often, much softer feel than the Scotty Newport's I generally game. The one I have now is 40+ years old. Other than that, everything stays with 3-4 years old, wedges get swapped twice a year.

I have a 2008 Scotty Studio Select. Works fine, no reason to switch it out.

I have a set of 1971 Titleist forged irons 2-9 Pw but i dont play them. They are in immaculate condition. I am currently playing a set of 712MB's 3-9, Pw that I love. Thinking about going to AMT Red shafts though as I think lighter weight might help me with the distance i am losing. I am 71 now and still swing pretty good but father time is winning the battle. Hitting a 917D2 driver that is really good also.
