  1. What’s the difference between TSR 3 and GT 3 drivers other than weight track moved closer to the face on GT 3! Is it changing the ball flight from a mid to a lower flight? What else is difference making the advances of the new driver?

Good question. News outlets are still on an embargo from releasing inside information that they have. I believe the No Putts Given team has had the clubs in hand. Not yet known if the weight move increased speed by trading off MOI and forgiveness. Or if they achieved speed w/o loss of forgiveness. I expect more information when fittings are made available to the public in early to mid August
Interesting in that the 3 has had an 11 degree added to the lineup. Is that the solution to the higher speed and lower flight???

I have a friend that did some sort of early fitting, as he is a very good amateur player. He said the sound was improved substantially, which is obviously subjective but I trust him. He also said he was able to get 6-7 more yards of carry over his TSR3. He also said he wasn't given any information on the tech at all, so we just have to wait until embargo is lifted.

A great fitting center up your way.

Visited my favorite golf shop today. Was talking to one of the fitters/teachers about the new drivers. He said they are off the charts. The new faces are so advanced. He like myself had not made a move to the newer models and was still playing the TSI3 Driver and he said the new ones are a monster. The ball pops off the head. Did not hit one, still not hitting balls yet. Said they are better than anything TM or Cally has out on the market.
Newer shafts are now 46" which gives a little extra zip as well. Once we get thru our travels and my epidurals should be into mid September, will have to go see them give the GT3 a ride. Saw that the Fujikura Motore Shafts are back in the line, have to check into those. Hopefully that Titleist is offering them. Love those shafts.

I got to hit the GT2 the other day at the Folds of Honor event. The fitters all agreed that moving the weight forward on the GT3 has created the need for almost everyone to go up a degree from their current loft when choosing the GT3. I am in the TSR3 9 degree and the GT2 9 degree with a different shaft was spot on for my swing. I am sure I would have needed a 10 degree in the GT3 but we were doing quick testing and I could not hog the fitters while others were waiting to give the GT a try. I am pretty sure when I get to do my detailed fitting I will end up in the GT2 9 degree with MMT SpeedMesh 40R.
