  1. Hey all, Currently gaming a TSi 2 Driver, swoosh VRS Covert 2.0 3W, 818 3H, AP3 4i-48˚ and Vokey 52 and 56 wedges.

I have been struggling with my Driver and can’t hit my 3w or hybrid to same myself… So 4 iron has been my saviour. I can hit this thing roughly 180-190m, love this club.

Been thinking of getting a utility iron 2i or 3i. And dropping my 3w.

Was thinking of trying to find a U510, I naturally hit it quite low so I don’t think the U505 would suit me. Just curious and trying to search the local websites her in New Zealand and very slim pickings, is the T200 utility build the successor to the U510?

My handicap is currently a 14. Happy to course manage too, so no need to make every par 5 in 2 shots. The courses here locally aren’t particularly long, so I’m not too worried about that side. Ideally to match my bag, I’d like to go Titleist so what’s everyone’s thoughts?

Sounds like a "band-aide" approach to solving the larger issue. I would advise a lesson or two to figure out the root cause of why you can't hit your driver, 3 wood or hybrid. I'm guessing you are very steep since you also classify yourself as a low ball hitter. If you are dead set against fixing things, then i don't know why you would think the 505 wouldn't suit you, as it's designed to help get the ball in the air, and would seem like the most natural fit.
  3. Hey mate. For some dumb reason I had seen the 505 was a players iron.. my bad. I’ll give one a go. I’ll see if I can find a decent 2nd hand one.

But for some reason with my wood and hybrid my brain engages and I swing much to fast and always topping it so kinda looking for a safety net. Haha. Driver has its days that is for sure.

Have been thinking for ditching the hybrid for a while though and was going to get a t300 or ap1 3 iron but thought a utility might be the way to go.
  4. I’m gaming the U505 2 iron with tour AD shaft. A real fairway finder and it’s long too. I’m not a fan of hybrids and like irons more. I suggest you give a try at a demo facility.

    Good luck
