The XC is an amazing animal. I went with the XC 6 in stiff-regular (I'm old and carry a bunch of old nagging injuries) in my TS2 a couple years ago, and what I noticed more than anything is the bullet drives into the wind. I get a little less launch angle but there is noticeable increase in roll-out. Recently got fitted (semi-fitted because it was indoors) and they recommended the TSR2 with Tensei AV Blue 55 in either regular or stiff. Performance on the monitor was great, but after a couple rounds of real golf I switched back to the AD XC. Shots with the Tensei looked really cool and on a calm day (don't get many of those around here in spring) would get me about 220 yards, which I figured with my age and nagging injuries is acceptable, but I find that the overall distance and control with the XC tops it. I will say that if I miss the center with the XC it's a bit more harsh, so I try not to do that. The TSR2 is a great design, and plugging in the XC is a very pleasing improvement to my game.

Congrats, and best of luck with the new shaft. I just changed out the shaft in my TSI driver to something a little softer in the mid section and it's working out great so far.

What are your spin rates normally and with the new stick? I am running the New VF7TX and although it is very stable I have found it to be higher spinning than the Ventus (velocore) Black 7X. I am going to play with some other custom shafts and wondering what your experience is so far? I was of the impression the VF was the stiffest lowest spinning GD AD shaft.
  6. Always fun to get new toys! AD shafts are sooo good, love that Titleist gives these as an option
