  1. When will the TSR mini driver come out? They have been on tour since March.

It more than likely will not be released to the public at all.

It's a special make up for a few guys on the tour. Yes, there is another OEM that has one on the market but it's such a specific club. The audience for a "mini" driver is really small.

What would you replace? the Driver or a fairway metal in place of a mini?

Really good club for tight driving holes, hence why Cam Young had it at Harbour Town.

Probably will not see a production release as the new model drivers and fairways are due out this fall. They might incorporate a similar club in the new models, we will just have to wait and see. It's not unusual for Titleist or other manufacturers to get USGA approval on clubs that pros play and not released into production. Several tour players have had custom made irons for their specifications but they do not get released.

It won’t be soon. Designated a TSR to get it past the USGA, Titleist won’t be releasing it in the TSR line due to be replaced later this summer.
There are 621 MB lines for guys like JT that never hit the streets. There is no word if the 2wood is simply a one-off or will eventually be added to whatever the next TS(x) line will be. Besides the technical development, there are the marketing feasibility. The design might be incorporated into another fairway model. Maybe a TS(x)-4 line? All guesses at this time
  5. I hope they release it as wanting to replace my 3 wood with one.l!

I hope they release this club. Some people may think it's gimmicky and it might be but let the customers decide. I for one would scoop one right away to replace my driver. Last TT event in San Diego I played my driver 1! All of the my first shots was with a cally UW 17 degree that I was able to keep in the fairway.
  7. I sure hope they release it and follow the mini driver- 2wood trend. I somewhat recently started to use a 3 wood off the tee- just love the smaller club head and able to draw/ fade much easier. Finding way more fairways! I hate large club heads, so think the 2 wood would be a weapon for golfers that are similar and allow a little more workability+distance. Niche market forsure!
