TSR1 Hybrid (26) png Noise

    I have a Titleist TRS1 (26) hybrid and a TRS1 (20) hybrid. The TRS1 (26) hybrid makes a "png" sound when hitting the ball but the TRS1 (20) does not make a png sound but a normal sound like my TRS1 (18) fairway wood. Is there something wrong with the TRS1 (26) hybrid?

    My TSi1 fairways do not have that hollow sound but my TSi1 hybrid did. I upgraded to the TSR1 hybrid and it too has the hollow sound, similar to an aluminum baseball bat sound. I love the way the club performs but also not crazy about the sound. Hoping it will be resolved in the next generation of hybrids or I may switch to the TSR2.

    I notice that sound but it is a non issue. The TSR1 fairways make the classic sound one expects. The TSR1 26 is a nice hybrid and it hits greens.

    For what it's worth...... This morning I changed the shaft to a Tensei 70g Stiff (soft-stepped by 1" since it originally was on a TS2 23) and the headweight to 3g. Kept the Surefit at A3. The metallic sound seemed to diminish and I hit it farther and with a higher ball flight.
