I recently ordered a T200 5 iron to use as my 4 iron since the T200 lofts are 3 degrees stronger compared to T100. The rest of my irons are T100 P-5. I get my irons a 0.5" long, so to make the T200 5 iron the proper 4 iron length for me I ordered it 1" long from standard.

When I placed the order I could not select a 1.5 degree flat lie angle for the T200 5 iron like the rest of my T100 irons. The only lie options I saw were upright. Titleist support said they use a "2up lite head" for clubs longer than 0.5" from standard. Not exactly sure what that means but I'm guessing they just select a lighter head to maintain swing weight. I still have no idea why they cant bend 1" long irons flat. Anyone have a good explanation for this?

The head weights mostly vary by manufactured weight. So, yes, they would use a light head for the longer shafts.

Most heads come in 2 lies. Neutral and 2 degrees up. So they can bend from -2 degrees to +4 degrees upright.

Apparently the online ordering has limitations. Not all custom shafts are available to any iron or wedge. An authorized deal can request shafts and apparently swing weight and lie that the online doesn’t. There is no price advantage to ordering direct. May not hurt to work with a local pro shop to go over all the possible specifications.
