U505 3i, great gap filler!

    I had a big gap in my clubs. Went from 3wd (TSr2) to 5i (718 AP2) so there was a good sized yardage void.

    I've tried hybrids over and over and they just don't suit my eye, plus I love hitting irons so elected for the U505.

    Played it yesterday with great success and perfectly filled in a gap from 220 down to 195.

    Yet another great Titleist product!

    I just purchased a 4iron U505, look forward to hitting it in the course. How well do they hit out of the rough?

    Fortunately I never found myself in the rough so I'm unsure. I would think pretty well given the sole profile but that's a guess.

    Off the tee I got 220 then played it on 2 other shots, both from the fairway, one to 205 and the other 195. Easy club to back off of.

    I am considering the U505, just not sure on 1, 2 or 3. Was supposed to go get fit a local shop yesterday, but my 6 YO decided he wanted to throw up almost through the entirety of my house at 130am. We'll try it again this weekend!
