AP3 head weights - 2013 T200 head weights

    I have KBS Tour Lite shafts in my new T200 irons (5-A wedge). I had the Steelfiber i70cw shafts in my AP3 irons, which I love. The fitter didn’t have the Steelfibers with him to try, so I opted for the KBS. Question, are the AP3 head weights similar to the new T200’s? If so, I’d like to reshaft the T200’s.

    The shafts distribute weight across the whole length. So SW isn’t impacted as much when the shafts are close in weight. Static swing weight is impacted more by grip weight.

    Titleist builds each iron with a weight added in the hosel to correct for head eight variation. A good club builder should be able to play with the existing weight and the KBS shafts and adjust the SW with hot melt.

    The area Titleist rep may be able to check with the plant about any SW changes between the shafts in the T200 head.
