It's kind of an unwritten rule of golf that you always respect other players and their equipment. At most courses you can leave your bag at the drop area and get a bite to eat or have an after round drink with the guys, and never think twice about it. Ever since the Covid era, when everybody decided they wanted to be a golfer, respect for the game seems to be on the decline. Used to be if you lost a club, rangefinder, headcover, etc. you could always pick it up at the Lost & Found later, but now there's as good a chance that it is gone forever. We now have to deal with 5 hour rounds, hooting and hollering, loud music, empty beer cans and bottles all over the course, spin-out tire marks in the fairway, fixing multiple divots, and thieves. Times have changed - keep an eye on those clubs or put them in the trunk for safe keeping.

That really sucks! I have actually been thinking of insuring my clubs. It's got to be well over $3000 worth...People really do suck. Don't give up...time to shoot your age!

Really sorry to hear this. Sadly, this is often enough that I immediately take my bag to the car and lock in the trunk before hitting the 19th hole. I hope you get lucky.

Don ‘t forget to check eBay and Craigslist frequently. A recent LPGA player was lucky enough to find the bag and clubs with positive identification shown in the picture on Craigslist. As they say, dumb criminal tricks.

Any chance you are LH? I have spare bags and SM7 and SM8 wedges, soon to be donated to 1st Tee.
