I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with both the f2 and the f3 as I am soon going to be purchasing a 3 wood and a 5 wood, but can't decide if i want the f2 or f3. Thanks!

I have actually gotten to try both the F2 and F3 fairway woods at a few demo days that I have been to. The two clubs seem to have a few differences between them that are quite noticeable. When I hit the F2, I noticed a higher ball flight, which I liked because it was an ideal club for hitting greens in two. I am pretty good with my driver at keeping it in the short grass so this was the one for me. The F2 was also a great club and I noticed that there was a more penetrating ball flight, great for use off of the tee. In my opinion, it depends on what you want to do with the clubs themselves. I don't really see a problem with mixing up a set like an F3 3 wood as a "second driver" and the F2 5 wood for those par 5's you want to reach in two.

Ok, thanks. Do you think it is worth getting them now, or should I wait for the 910's?

I just got a new 3 and 5 wood last week, both F2's a 15.5 and 18.5 and I love them. I have the D3 driver and to have the set helped me on the course alot. I was able to make it on the green in two as Austin T suggested and birde a par 5 that was out of reach with my previous woods. I am very impressed with the woods. As for waiting for the 910's, its really up to you. Since the 910's are comming out I figured I could get a good deal somewhere online on 909's and I did. I got both woods for 200! Anyway good luck in your decision. -Josh
Joshua-Have you hit the F3, if so why did you go with the F2? Any one else hit both the F3 and F2?
I hit both the F3 and F2 at golf galaxy in the simulator, not on the course, which I know is alot different. However I liked the higher lauch angle that it gave and I actually was getting more yards with it than the F3. That is all in the simulator mind you. I normally use my woods as a recovery shot, so normally I am trying to get the most distance, with some control. The higher launch angle was giving me that and proved itself on the course just yesterday.
I am leaning towards the F2, since i will use it mostly for hitting off the deck.
Tyler- sounds to me like you have made up you mind and if that is the primary use for you, then the F2 will be a great fit. I love mine for that exact reason! Good luck bud
Thanks a lot! I can't wait to get them!
