    Saw a teaser by one of the tour truck reps at the Open Championship talking about other versions of the pro v1 that are tour only. One was the Prov1x+. Would be interested in testing this if they put it to public testing.

    Yep, they are limited to tour release as of now. The normal method for testing by the TT population is usually a small sampling and normally not marked for exact identification so as not to influence the comments. If the plan is to continue limited pro release only, there is no need for Titleist to get feedback from the general consumer population.

    I think a larger population of recreational players would benefit from this ball than previously thought. Lower speeds yield lower spin; less than professional swings also can yield lower spin. Obviously there are so many factors to a ball fitting, but I'd like to see it released.
