Probably COVID related is my guess. I miss those too. Hopefully 2021 will be different.

Looked up Titleist Thursday’s on the website and I saw that there is a $100 charge now. Did that change from last year?

Yes, that is a new feature designed to help the courses that put on the service. The $100 fee can be applied to the purchase of a club when ordered on that day. Many fitters charge a fee that does not get applied to a purchase so this is still a great deal.

I think that the free ride is over for serious fittings. Titleist reps are doing demo days at no charge. At our club you sign up in advance, specify what you want and you get 45 minutes. No walk-ups allowed. In my area, if you are absolutely, dead set on what you're getting, you go to the Butch Harmon Golf School at the Floridian Club and you set yourself up with Ryan Chrysler, the best around. $100.00 for either woods, irons, wedges or putter fittings, or $300.00 for the full bag.
