I am not a club builder, and I know this subject receives a lot of debate .Some people say the effects of the grips weight changes swing weight, some say there is no change in swing weight..I think for every 5 grams of weight you would increase swing weight by 1 point. So if you went with lighter grips you would increase swing weight and with heavy grips would decrease the swing weight. So lets say 50 g grip and you go down to a 25 g grip you would increase swing weight by 5 points making the club head feel heavier.
In my opinion the center of the mass of the grip lies in the golfers hand so going from a 50 g to a 25 g grip you might not even feel a difference in the club.I would say maybe re grip a club or two and see how it feels to you,and how it effects your game .
I am sure someone with more knowledge can maybe help you out more or someone who went this route before.Good Luck.
