I saw this on a golf web site...

Lee Westwood won the European Tour’s Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa using a 2017 Pro V1x – the Englishman’s win is noteworthy because it was the 3,000th win for the Pro V1/Pro V1x franchise since 2000.

CONGRATULATIONS to Titleist for reaching a huge milestone !!!!!

    Hi Darius,
Yes, we've had a banner up on our homepage since Monday AM and this article posted on the Team Titleist Blog: www.titleist.ca/.../3000-since-2000

In addition to Pro V1 and Pro V1x's 3000th win thanks to Lee Westood, Tatsunori Nukaga won the Mitsui VISA Taiheiyo Masters on the Japan Golf Tour to mark the first win for the new proto Pro V1x golf ball. The runner up, Seung-Hyuk Kim was playing the new Pro V1 proto as well.

Just as impressive, the 5 win week for Pro V1 and Pro V1x last week brings the number of 2018 Titleist golf ball victories to 203. More than six times the nearest competitor with 33.

Last but not least, Jake McLeod won the New South Wales Open on the PGA Tour of Australasia playing Pro V1x and the New TS driver and fairway. Not only did he snag that victory, but he did so with a course record 10-under par 62 in the 3rd round.

Some of these players aren't household names here in Canada, but it does go to show how more of the best players across the world trust Titleist.
  3. Honestly, even as an amateur I can see the benefits of the #1ballin golf. I was actually surprised at the number of wins by Titleist as in my personal opinion I thought it would be higher as I would have thought many more pro's would have these in their bag. But again I am new to the game. I am very proud though that Titleist has achieved this milestone as no one else is MORE deserving of this. Between the research and development, the quality and care that goes into all Titleist products, they simply are miles ahead of the competition in all aspects. Congratulations to Titleist, and thank you for doing such an amazing job!

I don't think the number of "pro" tour tournaments if very high (250???) and Titleist is winning an average of 166 per year. I think that is great.

Crazy, that's a lot of Pro wins every year! Congrats

Have only heard good things about the new balls. Looking forward to trying them once they are released.
