It's always fun to see which side Canadian golfers take given that we don't necessarily have any skin in the game.

Vote on which team you will be cheering for this week and comment on 'why' in the thread below.  We'll randomly draw 5 winners at noon EST on Monday, October 1st, 2018 from the comments below who will each win 1 dozen Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf balls.

    Good luck!

Sweepstakes is for Canadian Residents Only. No Purchase Necessary. One entry per household.

I voted Team Europe simply because they've won several of the last dozen or so and there is that slight 'Home' advantage playing in France. Will be watching for sure, always gets me filled with anxiety watching on the edge of my seat. Enjoy everyone!

I'm in favor of the the US team to win
Even though I like all members of the European team
I truly would love to see the US win on European soil and the fact that Tiger and Phil can be apart of this great team that wins .
    Thanks
  5. I'm going for Team USA. Mostly because it would be a big milestone for them to win in Europe for the first time in many years. Either way it should be interesting to watch!!

Tiger will be the difference as both teams are equal in talent. I think the US will retain the cup.

I voted for Europe. I just like the underdog, plus I think they will do well being on home soil.

I just hope it will be very close. It is not very exciting to watch when it is a blow out one way or the other. I will favour Europe only because they are the "home" team. I'll be turning the sound off on the TV and watching from the "neutral" section.

The Europeans! They are playing the underdog role again. Seeing the photo of the rough The US may have some difficulty if they don't hit the fairway.
  10. I am a huge Tiger fan. I like Speith, Thomas and Bubba. I like Rory on the other side, but Tiger is the guy I will be watching.
  11. I am quite certain I will not be up at 2am watching, however. When I am up tomorrow to walk the dog, the tv will be on. Let the games begin.

I think USA will overcome the home field advantage of team europe. They have more Titleist clubs and Scotty Camerons in their bags.

I will cheer for Team USA. Just feels more like a Home Town team then does the European team for some reason. I think there are fantastic players on both sides, but I am always a Home Town dude for better or for worse.
  16. Team Europe for me. As much as I like team USA my family heritage is European.....British and French to be exact. So GO TEAM EUROPE!!!
  17. Iā€™m hoping that European team wins by a good margin, one gets tired of hearing how good the Americans are at everything they do,just my opinion.

I voted for Team Europe !!!
My parents came from Lithuania, and I am a true Canadian. Both of those are NOT the U.S.
I wish no disrespect to the U.S. supporters, but Being Canadian I have to side with those that stand by our side during the Presidents Cup :)

I voted USA because I am 44 yrs old and grew up with Tiger, as much as I like JT, DJ, Rory and the others I am watching much more PGA now that Tiger is back!

I voted Team USA. Tiger Woods. Bryson are so good right now. I think Spieth will hurt them. Could be a suprise a lot of talent on both sides.

Okay - We may have been outvoted, but Team Europe pulled it off !
Over all it was certainly an interesting Ryder Cup this year. I really thought that the U.S. was going to do something spectacular after their morning run on the first day, but Europe stepped up and set the stage starting in the afternoon and never looked back.
A lot of stories to be told about the Ryder Cup, but to me the over riding theme is that Europe will play as a team and are fully committed to the concept while the U.S. team seems to be more a group of individuals. How else can we explain their lack of success and the bitter comments shot at each other following the tournament ?
Next year it is the Presidents Cup. I truly hope we have a Canadian or two that qualify for the team :)

I was excited to find out that I was drawn as a winner in this sweepstakes. Titleist has the best products to play but goes over the top with how they treat their loyal customers! Truly the BEST golf equipment company!
