Another great Masters !!! There will be a lot of talk about Jordan's loss of focus on #12. A bogey on 10 and 11 is not unexpected. Even his first shot on 12 was not really all that bad - just a little off. It was the one shot after he took the drop that showed nerves and ultimately cost him. Yes it was sad, but it happens. It has happened before at the Masters, and it has happened to many of us at our home courses. That is golf. He did come back with birdie par birdie on the next three holes, so it made for an interesting finish. There were so many potential story lines on Sunday Morning. Jordan could win two in a row; Rory could make the comeback for the career grand slam; Langer could be the oldest Masters winner ever, Danny Willett could be the second Englishman to win 20 years after Faldo and a week after his first child was born early allowing him the opportunity to play; Matsuyama could be the first Asian to win a Masters; Bryson could pull off an amateur win at the Masters; Jason Day could win right after making it back to the #1 spot..... And on and on.... It was a Masters Tournament that will be talked about for a long time. Like many, I feel for Jordan but he is a consummate professional who will gain some valuable memories from this. We all become stronger from our failures as they build character and make us realize that we are all human. Condolences to all those that did not win and finish the potential stories. Congratulations to Danny Willett for bringing home the jacket 20 years after Sir Nick Faldo!!!

  2. What an exciting finish to a great tournament. I was cheering for Jordan all the way and was in shock when he chunked that approach shot. Poor guy....I'm sure we can all relate to that shot at one time or another, but at least ours wouldn't have caused such grief. Congratulations to Danny Willett. He sure played well and deserved the win.

I agree with all the scenarios presented by Darius and as we all know, they were a huge part of the hype on a daily basis with the media suring this tournament, but we all forgot one scenario and that is that this could have turned into a major fail by Jordan as per Greg Norman, especially after the triple on Saturday at the 18th. The next day, I was on the edge of my seat until the 12th, well we all know what happened, I feel Willet didn't win the Masters but do feel that Jordan Speith lost the Masters and yes, he will learn from this.
